Each year, the Carrier Clinic serves over 6,000 patients seeking specialized treatment. Carrier Clinic treats adolescents, adults and older adults in inpatient, outpatient, and residential settings. Carrier Clinic’s facilities include a 286-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital as well as Blake Recovery Center, a 40-bed inpatient and outpatient addiction detox and rehab treatment center.
Also found on the Carrier Clinic’s scenic campus at the base of the Sourland Mountains is the East Mountain School. Established in 1981, the East Mountain School offers fully accredited academic programming for up to 120 youths and adolescents grades 7 through 12 with behavioral or psychiatric disorders.
Hackensack Meridian Carrier Clinic is also home to the East Mountain Youth Lodge, a residential and group home treatment program for adolescents and teens with psychiatric or emotional difficulties. Clinical, therapeutic, and educational treatments are provided to Youth Lodge residents around the clock.
